Peggy Brown (Milwaukee, WI) is a game designer, game consultant, creative director, and executive who has created hundreds of products that have been mass-produced and marketed around the world and have encouraged countless children and adults alike to play and unleash their creative spirits with products that teach, challenge, and draw individuals and families together.
A graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with a Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design from MIAD, Peggy worked as an employee of Hasbro’s Western Publishing division and Patch Products, afterwards co-founding and running a design business called Alley Oop for eight years. Now under her own consultancy she has provided creative consulting services to clients such as Hasbro, Mattel, Fisher Price, Milton-Bradley, Disney, Nickelodeon, and Penguin Random House and is known for creating games such as Buzzword, Pretty Pretty Princess, and Q-bitz amongst many others.
Peggy has also made numerous TV appearances, and was a recurring guest on the Rachael Ray Show where she produced her own funky craft ideas and home decor segments.
In November 2009, she was awarded a Tagie award for excellence in game design from the Toy and Game Inventors Expo for her work over the past 20 years.
