Young Professional Week

YPWeek is a week long platform for discovery, adventure and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter among young professionals. YPWeek brings together key leaders in the community, at purposefully chosen locations that integrate the unique cultural assets with meaningful learning or social interaction. The activities engage the millennial workforce in experiences that are important to you as a YP while educating your employers on the important role these functions play in retaining you as their workforce.

In the next evolution of this internationally acclaimed program, NEWaukee announces a new open call for communities across the United States to join the movement. The goal is to unite a national network of young professionals and aspiring community leaders to learn and grow from one another. Participants vary from independent community leaders, organizers or creatives to established young professional organizations. Multiple individuals and/or organizations can plan and host programs within the same community either independently or as a collective team.

In order to participate in YPWeek 2019, NEWaukee requests the following of interested parties commit to:

  • Send 1-2 representatives to attend all of the YPSummit on Oct 13-14, 2018 in Milwaukee.
  • Attend 2 individual community remote meetings (Nov 2018 & April 2019), 1 community in-person meeting (Jan 2019) and bi-weekly large group remote meetings (Jan - April 2019).
